Bentley's Story
Bentley is a really special guy with a big heart. He does well with other dogs, especially with calm, respectful introductions. He’s not one to rush friendships, but once he feels comfortable, he settles in nicely. He does like to be in charge of toys, so toy management and clear boundaries help set everyone up for success. I don’t have a dog door, but he has used one before and caught on quickly. Bentley walks very well on leash when expectations are set ahead of time he really thrives with calm, confident guidance. He enjoys car rides and being out and about with his people , but he shines most in calmer environments. Crowded places with lots of people wanting to touch him aren’t his thing, as he prefers to build trust at his own pace. With thoughtful, controlled introductions, he does beautifully.
And once you’re his person he is the absolute best snuggler and will happily demand hugs and affection. He forms deep bonds and is incredibly loving with the people he trusts. Bentley is a loyal, affectionate dog who does best with someone willing to give him a little time and a lot of space in the beginning and in return, he gives you his whole heart but it does take time to get there.

Adopt below!
https://forms.gle/7dTuG94nZKd839c2A
