Bentley's Story

(DOB 08/02/2021) "Everyday is better with Bentley" is definitely a motto that is true! Bentley is the ultimate adventure buddy and loyal "shadow dog." This sweet hound mix is always up for a new journey whether it's hiking a trail, exploring the neighborhood, or just trotting alongside you around the house.

Bentley loves playing with his foster siblings, lounging on the couch, sunbathing in the yard, chewing on toys, and snuggling with his humans. Did we just mention snuggling? This dude is a professional snuggler. He has no need for much personal space. When he snuggles up to you, expect him to turn into a noodle. He will happily "allow you" to rub his belly endlessly.

He also loves going out for adventures, whether it's just a walk around the neighborhood, a car ride, or a hike, Bentley is an excellent wingman! He has the most joyful and happy personality and makes you smile right along with him!

Bentley's ideal home would include a female playmate and a fenced in yard, but he would also be okay as an only dog as long as his family prioritizes his physical and mental needs.

He's leash trained, crate trained (though he'd much rather be close to you), and always ready to be your sidekick through thick and thin. If you're looking for a loving companion with a heart as big as his floppy ears, Bentley's your guy.

As part of Bentley's $300 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Bentley, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
