I’m a happy, loving boy who absolutely adores people and does well with most other dogs.<br/><br/>Sometimes when I’m unsure, I might bark…but I’m just saying “hey, give me a minute!” Once I have time to process, I settle in just fine. My small terrier mix foster sister taught me all her tricks for being a good boy (and how to get lots of treats and cuddles!).<br/><br/>Cats aren’t really my thing, they’re just too fast and confusing, so I’d do best in a home without them.<br/><br/>I’m great when left on my own. I might try to tag along when you leave, but once you’re gone, I usually nap or watch out the window until you come back. My absolute favourite thing in the world? Cuddling. Whether it’s on the couch watching a show or sneaking in a nap, I’m your guy.<br/><br/>I have a special bond with my 13-year-old human foster sister — she’s my world. We spend evenings hanging out, watching TV, playing games, and having sleepovers (I’m very good at those). I love being part of the action, especially when her friends come over!<br/><br/>I also LOVE to play — especially with balls. I’ve got quite the collection and will happily show it off when you visit! I can play a bit enthusiastically, so I’d do best with older, dog-savvy kids or in an adult-only home.<br/><br/>I’m still a young guy, so I’m working on my manners. I’m strong and love to explore, so I’ll need someone patient who’s willing to keep teaching me — I promise I’m trying my best! The good news is I’m very food motivated, which makes training fun (and delicious).<br/><br/>Breed experience is a bonus, but what really matters is finding someone who will love me, understand me, and be my person.<br/><br/>My foster mom says I’m truly worth it… and I think you’ll agree!<br/><br/>The adoption fee is $600 and includes spay/neuter (dogs over 6 months), vaccines, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months), deworming, Flea and tick prevention and microchip. Please visit www.paws-united.com to fill out an application.<br/>**For puppies under 6 months a $200 spay/neuter rebate will be given with proof of spay/neuter certificate signed by a vet, if they have not been done prior to adoption.**<br/>**Please note we DO NOT adopt our dogs as outdoor/farm dogs. These dogs are coming to us as stray, roaming or dogs that have lived a life tied to a chain. Our goal is to bring them in the house off the chain and give them a pampered indoor dogs lifestyle. Unless otherwise stated we will not even consider a home that has intentions of leaving our dogs outdoors or tied to a chain**<br/>***We do require every applicant to provide a vet reference and we do follow up with your vet. If you do not currently have a vet as you have no pets, we strongly encourage you to do your research and contact vets to make sure they are accepting new patients. You must have a vet in place before bringing a new dog home. You will be required to give your vet permission to release information to us, we also require two personal references as well that will be contacted. We have policy and procedure in place while screening homes. If a family refuses any step in the process they will not qualify for adoption. We are not currently doing adoptions across the boarder.***
