Benny 's Story

Meet Benny he came to us from Orange County Animal Services. He was found as a stray. He had to fend for himself so he can be scared/ frightened if other dogs. Benny is 1 year old. He weighs approximately 65 pounds.

We believe him to be a Lacy Dog -
The Lacy Dog is a hardworking, alert working dog. Despite its frilly name, this is a hardy breed that needs room to run and a task to accomplish in order to satisfy its strong drive to work.

He completed a 4 week intense board n train then worked with an in-house trainer with his foster dad.

Benny will thrive as a only Dog in home and with a younger family with no other dogs and no young children. The trainer is going to still work Benny around other dogs to help with his high arousal around them.

He is a lovable goofball who can play independently in the right environment. He loves humans but needs a human he connects with, his distrust of other dogs has grew in the shelter environment. This is why Benny has gone through so much training.

He really needs a peaceful environment with room to exercise/play, learn to trust and lots of appropriate things to chew and a family willing to continue his training.

Adoption fee is $200
