Benny is a 1 1/2 year old mixed breed pup with stubby little legs, a long body, and a big head with an even bigger smile! He weighs 30 lbs making him the perfect compact size! Don’t let his little legs fool you, Benny defies the laws of physics with how high he can jump and how quickly he can run. He loves to zoom through the yard and jump over the snow piles. He is friendly and playful toward people but may need a minute to warm up. He is dog friendly and could live with a feline friend with proper introductions. We are recommending that Benny go to a dog-experienced adult-only home because he needs to learn how to properly take toys from his humans. It’s not his fault - he likely never had a toy to play with before coming to his foster home, so now he’s obsessed! We want each adoption to be a good fit for the dog and the family. This will be a lifelong commitment - possibly 15 or 20 years! You owe it to yourself and your new family member to make the right choice. It's a big decision. Next, fill out an application. Be as specific as possible about your dog experience and what you are hoping to find in your new companion. A Cold Nose adoption counselor will contact you either via phone or email if there are any questions, then to arrange a meet and greet. Finally, meet your prospective new companion!
