He is a dog that can't catch a break and has been with us four times now in his short life, all no fault of his own as his guardian has health issues and can no longer care for him.
Benny is a dog that bonds strongly and enjoys being with his people. The shelter environment is very hard on him as he is used to getting lots of attention. Though he has not lived with other dogs that we know of, he is graduate of the Making Pawsitive Changes Prison Program and did well with the other dogs in the program.
If you want a dog that will be your ride-or-die and you can be that for him, Benny might be the dog for you. If you are interested in meeting Benny, call the shelter at 906 632 2519 to set up an appointment to meet him. Please call for the quickest response to inquiries as those submitted through FB, Petfinder, and email are not always closely monitored.
