He would make an amazing hiking, adventure companion.<br/><br/>This beautiful baby is looking for his furever home! He is 80 lbs. born 12/27/2020 and is SUCH a love bug He loves to give kisses, get scratches, go on brisk walks/hikes, is very obedient, and knows his commands (very well once you stimulate him enough). He is high energy and does amazing with long lead strolls, constructive loose leash walks, and working on his commands.<br/><br/>Benny is doing ok with cats, although very curious. I am currently helping him understand the boundaries associated with other animals; he is excitable, curious, playful, but also quite nervous and reserved. His experiences with cats and dogs were very limited before coming into rescue. He is all puppy and just wants to play, though doesn’t know boundaries and isn’t experienced. If the animal shows signs of correcting him or reacts, he overreacts out of fear and can easily make a mistake. Again, he is learning the rules very quickly and beginning to respect boundaries as a whole, but will need someone who will continue teaching him!<br/><br/>He is house and crate trained although well behaved inside a crate has not been used by his foster. He will make an amazing addition to an active family looking for a companion to join in adventures. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. <br/><br/>We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess.
