Benny's Story

Benny is a SPECIAL NEEDS dog looking for a home that is either experienced in handling blind dogs or has patience to learn and grow with him. Benny comes from a rough past living in a hoarding situation with more than a 100 dogs. It is understandable that he is a little reserved when it comes to entering new situations. Benny is completely blind and can be very scared and nervous in new situations or learning new people. He is very happy and funny once he gets to know you. He does great with his potty training and is so so smart! We still have a lot to come with Benny: Vet visits, socialization, grooming, and more but he has come along way since his first day here. His neuter and vetting is scheduled and will be completed before final adoption. For now he is still adjusting to a new place and we are not ready to reintroduce more stress unless it is going to set him up for his new home.
