Benny's Story

Meet Benny!

Benny is approximately two years old. He looks big in his pictures but he is medium in size (25 lbs) with a stout body and short legs.

Benny is a sweet, cuddly pup with the cutest full-body wiggles. He had a hard past that unfortunately left him with some uneven ears (a poorly executed do-it-yourself ear cropping) and a timid nature but he has come so far! He’s calm and settles nicely in his crate, but when it’s playtime, he’s all about zooming around the kitchen and loves playing fetch with his toys. His excitement comes with happy zoomies, adorable butt wiggles, and little hops that are guaranteed to make you smile. When the fun winds down, Benny is perfectly content snuggling right up in your lap.

Benny is doing best with patience and predictability as he continues settling into home life. While he’s currently living with another dog, he prefers slow introductions to new canine friends or would even love all the attention as an only dog! He can startle easily, so a home without young kids would be ideal. Benny hasn’t been tested with cats yet.

Once he settles in, Benny’s playful, affectionate personality truly shines. He’s looking for a loving home that will let him move at his own pace and in return, he’ll give you endless entertainment, loyal companionship, and heart-melting wiggles!

Benny will be vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
