Meet Bennie! Bennie is a 2 year old, female, standard poodle and she weighs about 50 pounds. Bennie arrived in rescue when she was retired from a breeding program. She is settling into pet life well, and is learning how to dog:) Her foster dad says: Bennie is extremely shy and tends to keep her distance. She is so sweet and when you have her trust, she loves to be petted and loved. She is very shy and therefore needs a person or family that is very patient and willing to let her take her time and come to you when she’s ready. She does enjoy the company of other dogs her size and seems to take que’s from them. Bennie is crate trained and feels her crate is her safe place. She love being outside in the fenced yard exploring with me or just soaking up the sun. Bennie is not real fond of her leash but does tolerate it and therefore needs someone to work with her on that. She sleeps the night in her crate with no accidents. She has only had a couple accidents in the house but if you take her out enough there are no accidents. Bennie would do best in a quiet home without small children or a lot of commotion. Bennie is a very sweet super shy girl that needs patients for her to come into her own.

Bennie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned.
