He is currently working on trusting humans and other dogs. He is a "guy's guy" and prefers both male dogs and men. Since he has these things he is currently working on he will need a patient adopter to continue to work with him. Once he feels comfortable with people he is very loving. Benji is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is currently in the DASH Prison program where he is learnig basic commands. In his previous home Benji was fine with cats but did not do well with children. If you are willing to be the one who continues to work on making him the best dog he can be then apply today.<br/>(FTA: Benji is a part of our Foster-to-Adopt program. If you are interested in bringing him home to test how he would acclimate to your environment, apply today!)

We are a group of volunteers who foster in private homes. However, we often host adoption events around town.
