Benji's Story

Meet Benji, an incredibly loving and quiet dog who loves to explore, go on walks, play, follow you around, and get as many pets from you as he can! Although not much of a barker or whiner, Benji is still very social. Every person and dog he meets is his friend. This makes him perfect walking buddy as he never makes a fuss when somebody walks by. He also enjoys lounging around and begging for pets and scratches. If he decides the amount of attention you gave him wasn't enough, he'll put his paw onto your hand to get you to continue! Benji is very well-behaved overall. Even when he's hesitant to do something you want him to (like taking a bath), he never shows signs of aggression. He is crate-trained and sleeps through the night without any issues. He's also potty-trained! Benji would be a great fit in any type of household, especially one with kids and other dogs. If you're looking for a loyal, sweet companion who will give you endless amounts of love, Benji is the match for you. Benji is a male Border Collie mix with an estimated date of birth of 3/1/19. K-9 Angels Rescue's Adoption Policy

ADOPTION FEEs: CASH or CHECK ONLY DOGS $200 ($275 for Puppies) - includes spay/neuter alteration, shots, microchip, medicines and other medical procedures, if necessary. OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: Due to the Coronavirus we are suspending out of state adoptions until further notice. Our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months for complete vetting by our Houston veterinarian. We have been inundated with too many applications and, going forward, we will only review applications for people who currently have a dog or who have had a dog where the vet reference is in THE APPLICANT's name. We are unable to respond to email inquiries and requests for updates as we do not have the staff or capacity to handle all the emails/applications we are receiving. We will contact you via email with approvals and/or requests should we need additional information. When we reopen for adoptions it will be by appointment only for pre-approved adopters with good vet references. We will continue to do 3rd and 4th vaccinations for any previously adopted puppies from 10am-12pm on Saturdays at the adoption center. Please follow instructions upon your arrival there.
