Meet Benji! <br/>Benji came into rescue with his sister Nala after a pretty rough start. He was severely underweight and dealing with skin and ear infections as well as a leg injury. With lots of care and some time to heal, that chapter is behind him-and now we get to see the happy, healthy, fun-loving dog Benji was meant to be.<br/>Benji is friendly with dogs, cats, and kids and has a great mix of playful energy and independence. He loves racing around the yard, playing with his toys, spending time outside, and keeping an eye on the local wildlife. He's medium energy, so he's happy to have some fun without needing to be entertained every second of the day.<br/>He's also house trained and crate trained, walks great on a leash, and is an excellent passenger in the car. Whether you're heading out for an adventure or hanging around at home, Benji is pretty easy to have along.<br/>And the way to this boy's heart? Food.
