He is playful boy with lots of love to give (appx 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated and gastropexied). Benji has a stocky, muscular build on a small frame.Sadly, Benji had a rough start in life. Abandoned and left to fend for himself in s backyard, he had not received a lot of attention or affection during his young life. His coat was in bad shape.While his past was not a happy one, you would not know it from his demeanor; Benji is loving, affectionate, playful, well behaved and calm.His fav hobbies are the beach (leashed), sunbathing, kissing, playing with his toys and playing with his human.Benji has a bit of a pull on the leash. He is definitely dog selective but not overly aggressive. He should be the only pet in the household.When Benji first came to us, he was shy and had no idea how to walk on a leash.But look at him now, 5 months after rescue Benji is letting his true colors shine. It’s why we nicknamed him the “boss”. (He thinks he is the boss)Handsome Benji would do best in a household with kids over 12 years old. Some type of outdoor space is preferred.This little powerhouse is ready for love, ready to find his forever person.
