Benji

BIG PERSONALITY IN A COMPACT PACKAGE ALERT!
Meet Benji, the 21-pound Chihuahua/Corgi mix who is 10% low-rider legs and 90% pure, unadulterated boss energy. At 6 years young, Benji is living proof that the universe can pack a massive "alpha" spirit into a delightfully short-statured body. Benji is a little spitfire with tons of character. He has confident antics and a fierce loyalty. Yes, he has a bit of a Napoleon complex, but once you’re in his inner circle, he’s a total sweetheart!

Here is the lowdown on our resident tiny king:
• The Cat Cuddler: Plot twist! While he’s a tough guy on the outside, he actually lived with cats before and did totally fine. He’s a friend to the felines!
• The Solo Superstar: Benji is looking to be the only canine ruler of his castle. He used to live with littermates, but honestly, he prefers not to share—especially when food is involved (hey, we get it).
• Adults Only: Because of his big-dog attitude and need for routine, Benji is looking for an adult-only home with a dog-savvy human who can gently guide him when meeting strangers.
• Walk This Way: He’s already house trained (score!) and a does okay on his leash walks, as long as he’s wearing a stylish harness.

If you're ready for a fiercely loyal, spunky companion who will always have your back, apply to adopt Benji! Come meet him and you can apply in person. Otherwise apply online at www.fchsanimals.org/adopt.html and we will contact you to schedule a visit.
