Benjamin's Story

Benjamin is a 1-2 year old, 40 pound red tick coonhound mix who is the sweetest guy you will ever meet.

While he likes other dogs and playing, his focus is definitely more on his humans. He loves nothing more than snuggles on the couch or ear rubs while looking you in the eyes while you tell him what a good boy he is.

Benjamin loves toys and chew bones. He’s house trained, crate trained and walks well in a leash. He attends daycare weekly and whines when it isn’t his turn to go.

Benjamin is good with kids but we suggest ages 5+ because he wags his tail constantly and he’s still learning to not jump up on people.

If interested in Benjamin, please apply at HeroHounds.org/adopt

Benjamin is currently in Columbia, TN but can be transported for the right family.
