Benjamin's Story
Benjamin is a happy, energetic 2-year-old mixed-breed boy who weighs about 17 lbs and greets everyone he meets with pure joy. He spins, wiggles, and jumps with excitement, loves attention, and is very affectionate. Ben came to the shelter through no fault of his own due to changing family circumstances and has shown himself to be a friendly, social little dog.

Benjamin does well meeting other dogs, has shown no resource guarding, and appears to be house trained based on his kennel behavior. He will benefit from basic training to curb his enthusiastic jumping, but with consistency and structure he should thrive in many types of homes, including those with children or other dogs. If you’re looking for a cheerful, loving companion, Draco may be the perfect fit.

We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires.

We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there.

Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets.
