Benito's Story

Meet Benito — a big personality packed into a small body.

Benito is a 6-month-old Chihuahua mix. This little guy is currently recovering from a broken foot, but that hasn't slowed his happy spirit one bit!

Benito is full of playful energy and loves romping around with the resident dogs in his foster home. Because he has so much enthusiasm for playtime, he would do best in a home with another dog who enjoys having a buddy to run and wrestle with.

When he's not busy playing, Benito is a total love bug who enjoys curling up in your lap for cuddles. He already knows how to use the doggy door and is learning good potty habits, though like most puppies he still has occasional accidents. At night, when the doggy door is closed, Benito will use puppy pads and usually needs a quick potty break around midnight.

Benito is also very food motivated, which makes him a great candidate for continued training. Smart, sweet, and eager to please, he's ready to bring fun, affection, and puppy energy to his forever home.
