Benito's Story

Benito is a 40-lb scruffy sweetheart with a big heart and a sharp mind. He’s friendly, affectionate, and loves being with his people. Benito is also clever and athletic — he’ll need a secure yard and an adopter who enjoys an active, engaged dog.

He has shown friendly interest in other dogs, but will do best with thoughtful introductions and management, especially around food and toys. Final Frontier Rescue Project's Adoption Policy
Our goal is to make good matches of dogs, people, and home environments. Our application and screening process may feel onerous, but we want lifetime matches, and if it does not work out, we take our dogs back, so we do our best to prevent that! We are all volunteers and we will respond to your inquiry or application as soon as we can, usually within 1-2 days. If none of our dogs is a good fit, we encourage responsible adopters to visit their local shelter to foster or adopt.
