But you’d never know it now—this boy is full of love and ready to make up for lost time. He is the last of his friends to find a home, so let’s share Ben and get him the family he deserves!!<br/><br/>Ben is 1 year old, weighs 47 lbs, and is dressed to impress in his stylish black-and-white coat. He might look fancy, but he’s really just a lovable goofball who wants to play, snuggle, and snack on treats all day!<br/><br/>Ben can be a little shy at first (he’s got that sweet, bashful charm!), but it doesn’t take long before he’s wagging his tail and winning you over. He likes other dogs and lights up when he’s got a furry friend by his side. He is also cat friendly. He’s silly, sweet, and oh-so-ready to find his forever home. <br/><br/>If you’ve got some treats, a soft bed, and a little love to give, Ben is ready to be your best friend forever. <br/><br/>ADOPTING A PET<br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>FOSTERING<br/>Can't commit to adoption but still want to help us save lives? Consider fostering by filling out our foster application at https://www.kckpd.org/Animal-Services/Foster-a-Pet. All supplies are provided.
