Meet Belle! <br/><br/>Beautiful Belle is a 16-month-old, 30-pound Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd mix with a brilliant mind, an adventurous spirit, and so much love to give!<br/><br/>Belle is an intelligent, energetic girl who thrives when she has a purpose and plenty of opportunities to exercise both her body and mind. Whether she's playing fetch (her absolute favorite!), enjoying a walk or run in a quiet neighborhood, or simply spending time with her favorite person, Belle loves being part of the action.<br/><br/>While Belle has plenty of energy, she also has a sweet, affectionate side. Once she's had her exercise and feels comfortable in her surroundings, she's happy to settle in for some quality cuddle time. She truly enjoys being close to her people and would love a family that includes her in their daily activities.<br/><br/>Belle is looking for a special home where she can feel safe, confident, and understood. She experiences some separation anxiety and can be reactive toward unfamiliar people approaching her home. Busy environments and dog playgroups can also be overwhelming for her, so she does best with a quieter, more predictable lifestyle.<br/><br/>Belle has previously lived with a cat but showed intense interest and fixation, so a cat-free home would be best. Because she has not lived with children, we also recommend an adult-only household where she can enjoy a calm, consistent routine.<br/><br/>The good news? Belle is already house-trained, walks well on a leash, and is continuing to work on crate training. She's a smart girl who will benefit from patient, positive training and an adopter who understands the needs of active herding breeds.<br/><br/>Belle's ideal match is an experienced, active adopter who can provide structure, mental enrichment, regular exercise, and a peaceful home environment.
