This lovely girl is fully house-trained, respectful of furniture after just a gentle reminder, and walks nicely on a leash. <br/><br/>She&#39;s friendly with other laid back dogs and already knows several commands like sit, down, paw, and stayproof of just how smart and eager to please she is. Belle thrives on routine and, while she may need a couple of days to settle into a new environment, she quickly transforms into an affectionate, loyal companion. <br/><br/>She can be a bit shy around men initially, but with a little patience and a few treats, she warms up wonderfullyjust ask the vet who went from stranger to snack buddy in a single visit!<br/><br/>Belle&#39;s gentle nature shines through in every wayfrom the way she takes treats so delicately, it&#39;s almost comical, to how calmly she rides in the car, making her an ideal travel buddy. <br/><br/>Belle does struggle with crate aversion and some separation anxiety. Currently, her foster mom leaves her with free rein of the house when she&#39;s away, and she has never made a mess or shown destructive tendencies. Ideally, Belle would love a home where someone is around often to help her feel secure and loved, but has proven to do very well when her foster parent is working. <br/><br/>Belle came to Mostly Muttz with torn ACL. She has completed her 9 month recovery, but has a brace for strenuous activity, like long hikes. This brace will go with her to her adoptive home.<br/><br/>You may notice Belle has a soft lump on her front leg. This has been evaluated by a veterinarian, who feels it is not a medical concern, just a soft lump common in dogs as they age. <br/><br/>Belle is fostered in Boyertown (Berks County), Pennsylvania and can join a furever family as soon as one will welcome her into theirs <br/><br/> Belle is part of our &#34;Meet Me&#34; program. This program allows potentially interested adopters to talk to the foster directly and/or meet the dog before deciding to adopt or put in an application.
