Belle Dogo Argentino & American Bulldog Mix Land o Lakes, FL

Belle is a loving female dog who is incredibly loyal to those she trusts. She has a fun-loving and playful side, but she can also be protective. She has a signature stance, right between your legs. This pretty girl is a passive swimmer who's biggest enemy is a water hose. Belle's a ball of energy who loves to swim and explore, who also could sleep through the most ruckus once she knows she's safe. Her eagerness makes her easily trainable, especially if there's food involved. Through previous short-term interactions, we believe Belle is kid friendly. She's beyond excited when she see's them but knows how to keep her cool. She would be an ideal companion for an active family or someone who would enjoy taking her on long walks and adventures, although we've recently discovered she has some ligaments torn in both knees. This dog has been running around with no hint of pain for the past 3 years with us at Carters. Belle would have to have surgery on both knees to continue out her long life comfortable and pain free. Belle is mainly good with other dogs, she just has been attacked twice before so she is usually on guard. She was not food/toy aggressive towards other dogs before, but has shown signs of it after being attacked. Belle has never shown any aggression towards humans when it comes to food or toys, tug-of-war champion! She is fantastic on walks and car rides and if you're looking for a loving and loyal companion, Belle is the one for you!
