Belle Boxer Mix Albany, NY

Belle is a 8-9 year old pit mix that weighs about 65lbs. She is from KY and she was attacked by multiple dogs when she wandered into the wrong area. (See photo) Animal control picked her up and brought her to the shelter. After receiving vet care for her wounds she waited at the shelter for her owners to come claim her. That never happened. The shelter was full and she became urgent. Belle was transported to NY and she has been in a foster home for almost a year now. Belle is in foster with large and small dogs. She has also been exposed to horse, ducks and chickens at her foster home. The shelter staff reported that she did not pay attention to the cats on the property but she has not met cats while in foster. She is crate trained and house trained. Belle will only go potty off leash so she needs a fenced yard or a kennel run for potty breaks. She is submissive, great in the car and she would likely do well with children.
