Belle Chihuahua Mix Sagaponack, NY

The kindest human is deserving of darling Belle. She has tried her hardest to fit in and be loved, but as a rescue from a house overcrowded with dogs, she kept getting forgotten, overlooked and neglected. Somehow this little dog has kept hope alive in her heart! She is ready to find a home that will give her time to settle in, feel comfortable and then show her sparkling personality! Sort of like the older aunt who comes to stay and you think it’s going to be boring but after a little while she is telling you about following rock bands around the country and teaching you how to play poker! Belle can be a free spirit, so keeping a careful eye on her, even in a fenced yard, will be important. This little girl has so much love to give and is waiting for her forever home. 

Belle is a very sweet & loving 6- 7 year old, 18 lbs Chihuahua looking for her fureverhome. She is being fostered in Bridgehampton, NY. She isn’t a dog who can live in an urban noisy area.  Belle’s Foster mom says:  “Belle is a well behaved, house trained, sweetheart of a dog. She thrives on love. She will give you one hundred kisses if you allow her. She’s the ultimate cuddlier and likes to thinks of herself as a lap dog.  She’s happy as long as she’s loved and feels safe. She loves a good scratch. She gets along great with other dogs, but hanging with her human trumps all.  She bonds very strongly with her humans.  She will follow you wherever you go. She’s very low maintenance… all she wants is to love and be loved.   She is a best friend indeed.  Her best home is with someone who is home and wants a companion.”  Belle is vaccinated and microchipped.

The adoption fee is $275.  We require a fully fenced yard and not an invisible fence.
