Belle's Story

Meet Belle! Belle is a 5½-month-old Husky mix with a sweet personality, endless curiosity, and lots of playful puppy energy. She came to rescue as an urgent save from a Houston shelter, and while her early life is mostly unknown, she is already showing everyone just how loving, happy, and resilient she is.

Belle loves toys, balls, exploring the outdoors, and being around her people. She is food motivated, eager to learn, and already picking up on basic commands like “sit.” She is potty trained with a consistent routine and continues to thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement.

Belle does great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to play with. Like many young puppies, she can sometimes get a little overexcited during play, but she corrects very easily and redirects well. She has also been introduced to a resident cat and has been respectful while learning boundaries. At night, Belle settles nicely in her kennel and sleeps well through the night.

Belle is currently receiving treatment for an eye medical issue that is being actively addressed and monitored. Because of this, she is eligible for either foster-to-adopt or adoption, and her continued eye care and treatment will remain covered by the rescue until completed.

She is expected to grow into a large dog and would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and burn off her puppy energy.

Belle is looking for a forever family to continue helping her grow into the amazing dog she is meant to be. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and loyal companion, Belle may be your perfect match!
