BELLE's Story
Please meet Belle! If this little girl could talk, she’d have a sad tale to tell you. She came into rescue after she was seen being thrown out of a car....what kind of person does that!!? Thankfully, a good Samaritan saw this terrible act and stopped to help her. She was taken to the local vet and found to have a broken pelvis. Fortunately, surgery was not necessary. After some some quiet confinement and TLC in foster care, she's good as new. and ready to hang her leash in her forever home.

Belle is about 2 years old and weighs in at around 35 pounds...the perfect size for a family dog.. Her breed is a best guess, but we think terrier, probably with some shepherd mixed in. What we know for sure is that she is a pretty pup with a very sweet disposition. She walks nicely on leash and is house trained..

Belle loves every human she meets and gets along well with other dogs. Her two best friends are males, but she'd likely be fine with any dog.. There are no children in her foster home but she’s a young, smart girl who wants to please and, considering her good-natured temperament, we think she would thrive in a home with kids old enough to respect dog boundaries. She has not been exposed to indoor cats;.

Belle has been spayed, micro-chipped and is up to date with her vaccinations. She’s also on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Her doggy bag is packed and she can't wait to find her forever home where she'll be treated with the kindness every dog deserves. If you would like to give Belle her happily ever after, please email Chris at rescue3@earthlink.net for an application and she’ll send one right out to you. Her adoption fee is $400.
