Bellamy

Bellamy will find your hand with her nose and push it up onto her head. Stop scratching and she will come right back and do it again.
She is a two year old pit bull, gray brindle with a white stripe up the middle of her face, a white chest and four white feet. She came to us as a stray in March, thin and in rough shape, and you would never guess it to look at her now. She is at a healthy weight, spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She is good in a crate and seems to be house trained.
Bellamy is a people dog. She leans her whole weight into a good scratch, climbs into laps she is a little too big for, and her favorite spot in any room is right next to her person. At an adoption event this month she found her way onto one of the couches and settled in for a snuggle. She gets along well with other dogs, so a home with a resident dog is open to her.
She has been with us since March, and she is more than ready for a couch of her own.
We prefer to schedule appointments for meet and greets to make sure someone is available to spend time with you. The shelter is open Monday through Friday, 12pm to 4pm, and appointments outside of those hours may be available based on volunteer availability.
