Bella has epilepsy's Story
?Epileptic Husky needs a home! Please share!?

Bella is a lovely, blue-eyed Husky who needs a human who will love and treasure her despite the fact that she has epilepsy. This beautiful two-year-old came to us from a local vet clinic after being signed over for euthanasia by her owner after her first seizure. Bella is a fabulous dog and her epilepsy has not dampened her spirit one bit. Her friendly, playful nature has made her a favorite at the doggie daycare she attends. Bella is wonderful with other dogs both large and small. She loves to run and play chase with her doggie friends. She can often be found cuddled on the sofa with her foster family’s Chihuahua. Bella loves to ride in the car and go on adventures with her foster humans. With her striking features she tends to turn heads and receive compliments everywhere she goes.

Bella’s epilepsy is currently treated with a combination of two medications — phenobarbital and zonisamide. She does still have occasional breakthrough seizures, so her new family will need to be capable of managing them if/when they occur. Epilepsy is a life-long condition that can be managed but not cured. Bella will require the commitment of a family who has the heart, capabilities and financial resources to give her the care she needs. This special girl is worth everything it takes to keep her healthy and happy. You’ll see for yourself when you meet her.

Bella is fully vetted -- spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $300. We accept payment in the form of cash, CashApp and Zelle. You can apply to adopt at https://sohfga.com/dog-adoption-application/.
