Bella & Ginger's Story

Bella and Ginger are a bonded pair female chis. They are both 5 years old. Ginger is about 8 lbs and Bella is around 15 lbs. These 2 pups are very sweet and very bonded. They love to cuddle and are very affectionate. They get along with other dogs, cats and kids. They both had dental cleaning when we rescued them. They were severely neglected and dumped at the shelter. Please dont ask if you can adopt one because we will not break the bond. League of Extraordinary Mutts's Adoption Policy

Due to high demand and high intensity of the workload in our rescue we only respond to potential adopters who have already filled out an adoption application. Some applications get automatically denied due to issues with the application or not finding the applicant a good fit for the dog. Our adoption process is as following: First step is to fill out an application. Applications go through pre screening and those that are approved will be contacted for a phone interview. Next step is to do a home check as well as meet and greet. We used to have a mandatory 2 weeks foster to adopt policy for adult dogs which has been changed to 2 weeks adoption trial. This means we allow dogs to be adopted on the day of scheduled meet and greet, but the first 2 weeks is an adoption trial to make sure the home is the right fit. This will give time to the dog and adopter to get to know each other better. This does not apply to puppies. Please be aware that if a dog has multiple applications and we are interviewing an applicant you may not hear from us.
