Bella

Bella is a super playful, athletic dog who loves toys and water. She's also a scaredy pup who had a traumatic past, abandoned with four puppies when her owners moved and left them all behind. She feels most comfortable in her home, and will need people who are very patient with helping her feel safe in the larger world. She's scared to go on walks, and even things like the garbage truck send her diving under the bed, her safe place. <br/><br/>Bella does great with the two male dogs in her foster home, but the female dog (Susie) doesn't really like her, so they're kept separate for the most part. Interestingly, Bella does better on walks when Susie's there, too, so maybe Susie helps Bella feel brave. <br/><br/>Bella is in a holding pattern, hanging in there but not really thriving. She needs a home where her people have the right setup for her to gradually gain confidence.
