Bella's Story

Bella and four younger dogs (maybe her puppies) were abandoned when their owners moved, and then they were brought to an animal control facility where their lives were at risk.

When we rescued her on November 7, 2025, Bella was very skinny at 48 pounds, and even two months later, she remains very thin.

Bella urgently needs a foster or adopter who will help her learn that her world is safe now. She's friendly when meeting new people in public, but she becomes protective of "her" female person and home. We've started working with a trainer but Bella needs a home with people committed to helping her feel safe.

http://Tinyurl.com/FFRPshortApp

https://linktr.ee/ffrptx

Final Frontier Rescue Project's Adoption Policy
Our goal is to make good matches of dogs, people, and home environments. Our application and screening process may feel onerous, but we want lifetime matches, and if it does not work out, we take our dogs back, so we do our best to prevent that! We are all volunteers and we will respond to your inquiry or application as soon as we can, usually within 1-2 days. If none of our dogs is a good fit, we encourage responsible adopters to visit their local shelter to foster or adopt.
