Bella came to the shelter as a surrender with her buddy Scoop, but their previous owner didn’t leave any info about their home life — so we’re getting to know this sweet girl day by day. A former mama dog, Bella arrived very skinny with multiple pressure sores. She’s more than ready for a life where she finally gets to be the one doted on. Bella is friendly with people, food-motivated, and takes treats politely. Even with other dogs nearby, she stayed focused and eager for snacks — a great sign for future training! She’s medium energy, polite through the fence with other dogs, jumpy when food is involved, but walks nicely on leash and is easy to get in and out of her kennel.
