Bella's Story
Bella's story began on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2023, when we rescued her and her four puppies in Fresno, California. To save her family, we carefully dug the puppies out from beneath a storage container and safely trapped Bella.

At the time, Bella was doing everything she could to protect and provide for her babies. Her puppies, born October 30, 2023, all grew into healthy dogs and have since found wonderful homes. Her last puppy, Leo, was recently adopted, and now it is finally Bella's turn to find the loving home she deserves.

Bella is approximately 412 to 5 years old, weighs around 40 pounds, and is the perfect medium size. While she remains shy and cautious with new people, she has made incredible progress during her time in rescue.

Once Bella trusts you, her sweet personality begins to shine. She gets excited for exercise time, loves to run around the yard, and will happily give kisses to the people she knows. She has become much more comfortable with her caregivers and continues to gain confidence every day. Bella also still enjoys burrowing in the dirt, a habit she's held onto from her days of surviving on her own.

Bella is looking for a patient, loving, and understanding home that will allow her to continue building trust at her own pace. She is not the type of dog who will instantly bond with strangers, but for someone willing to give her time, the reward is a loyal companion who truly wants to love and be loved.

After raising her puppies and watching each of them find a family of their own, it's finally Bella's turn to experience the safety, comfort, and unconditional love of a forever home.
