Bella's Story

URGENT COURTESY POST - This is Bella. She's not in a safe situation and needs to go to a loving home that will give her the care, safety and love she so deserves. There are currently no foster homes available in her area, nor are shelters accepting owner surrenders, so we assisted in having her spayed, rabies vaccine, and flea meds. The only help we can offer for sweet Bella at this time is to get her pics and story out there and pray someone looking for a loving addition to their family will see this and open their heart and home to her.

Bella's story ... Bella is living on a small corner of property in a busy curve in the country. She's grown up in this area, and she's had one litter of pups which were taken in by rescue at the time (and when they were old enough), and have all found loving homes. Her owner was incarcerated at the time, and the woman there helping care for her and the pups allowed rescue to help them, but insisted on keeping Bella. By the time her owner was released and back at the property, all we were allowed to do since they did not want to give her up, and with their permission, was to pay for her hospitalization and spay, rabies vaccination and flea meds. Within a week of this a neighbor threatened to shoot Bella if she wondered onto his property again. So now her person wants to give her up, and we are desperately trying to find her placement. She is the absolute sweetest girl and deserves so much more than the life she has been dealt. Bella is about 13 months old, she's still a baby herself, and loves to play with her treats and toys. She'll even sit for her treats! She has a kitten that lives with her so we know she is cat friendly. She's not a very big girl, she weighs 25-30 lbs., and leans toward "medium" in size. If you would like to meet this most precious girl and give her the loving home she deserves, please complete one of our applications so we can reach out to you. We are happy to answer any questions that we can, and if we don't know we can reach out to her owner and find out.

Thank you for taking the time to read Bella's story. We pray it will reach her forever person/family.
