Bella is a Potcake from the Bahamas.<br/><br/>She is a sweet girl who loves people, especially when they are rubbing her belly. She loves to cuddle and loves to play. She is medium to low energy but she loves to run and would make a perfect jogging companion.<br/><br/>She can walk on a leash, is house trained and does well in the car. She's very active and really enjoys walking, running, swimming, playing, etc. She is estimated at a year and a half and weighs 40 lbs.<br/><br/>She gets along well with other dogs although it may take her a few minutes to feel comfortable around dogs she doesn't know. A good introduction is a must. She was fostered with a family with older children (12 & 14) and had no issues but were not sure what she's like with children under 10. She has also never lived with cats. <br/><br/>She needs some consistent training, particularly on recall. She's used to roaming and she's been bounced around a lot so some good consistent training would really go a long way. <br/><br/>Bella is smart, loyal, wants to please and is therefore very trainable. Overall, she is an almost perfect dog for any person or family. <br/><br/>She’s heartworm negative, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and on a heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Has not been cat tested but loves to chase squirrels and birds, so would likely need to be careful introducing her to cats.
