Bella's Story

Bella is awesome - she loves other dogs and people, is house trained, and loves to run! She is a mite difficult to keep home, and wants to mess with the cows, so she isn't perfect, but pretty close to perfect in your bed. Bella comes spayed, microchipped, and UTD on her shots - all she really needs is her forever home! <br/>Started on treatment for heart worms 11/25/2025

City of Edna Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

We will discuss with you how the animal you are interested in may or may not fit into your family. There is an adoption form and you will need to make sure you have a current and valid drivers license. Once the application has been approved, you will be directed to Edna City Hall to pay the $20 adoption fee while we microchip your pet. We are required to make certain the dogs have all their shots prior to leaving us, so we will transport the dog to the local vet where you will pay the $34 for all the shots.

The City of Edna Animal Shelter has many adoptable dogs. We work very closely with the local rescue organizations, but we also adopt animals straight out of our pound.
