Age: 5 years Weight: 75 lbs. (pregnancy weight) Like many of us older moms, she has some saggy boob issues that will shrink over time. Breed: Lab Mix Story: Abandoned but Unbroken Bella's journey began in heartbreaking circumstances when she was found abandoned on the side of the road. Shortly after finding refuge at the county shelter, Bella became a mom; however, she needed a little help caring for her puppies. Another rescue took her pups but left her behind. Enter Blackdog Club. We couldn't stand the thought of her there, without her babies and with a final hold date. She is sad, confused, heartworm positive and has a UTI. We are going to help her through all of this and then find her the perfect, forever home!! This sweet girl has a remarkable ability to melt into your arms the moment you touch her. Bella is gentle, affectionate, and exceptionally friendly with other dogs. She seeks nothing more than the warmth of her people, making her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend. Black Dog Club's Adoption Policy

Blackdog Club makes every effort to match potential adopters with a pet that shares similar personalities and lifestyle traits. We do not adopt based on looks. The first step in our process is a meet and greet here at the rescue facility. If you are adopting a dog into a home where there is an existing dog, we do recommend a formal meet and greet between the canines here at the rescue. Proof of vaccinations are required for any pet coming onto the property. We recommend emailing a copy of your adoption application prior to any meet and greet to expedite the adoption process. A vet reference is required prior to adoption. If this is a first pet, we encourage potential adopters to seek out and establish a relationship with a vet prior to application submission.
