I’m Bell, a 1-year-old sweetheart who’s learning how wonderful life can be in a foster home. I get along great with the resident pups and my fellow foster dogs here—I really enjoy having canine friends to hang out and play with! But if I'm totally honest, PEOPLE are my favorites! I glow when given love and attention, and am always happy to curl up for some great cuddles! And fair warning—my tail never stops wagging! It’s my favorite way to show just how happy I am to be around people and pups alike! If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate young dog who fits right in with a home full of love, I might be your girl. I can’t wait to meet you and start our forever together! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can! Sweet cuddles and happy tail wags-Bell💖 **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $400 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.*

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog. Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for. Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
