Beezer is a sweet, playful pup with a big heart and some endearing quirks that make him truly special. He has a soft spot for “squishy” toys—especially his beloved Kong—and proudly carries it out of his crate each morning to present it to his people. A snuggler at heart, Beezer loves relaxing near those he trusts and enjoys quiet cuddle time just as much as play. Beezer is fully house trained and crate trained, and he sleeps wonderfully in his cozy, covered crate. He’s currently on medication that helps keep him calmer as he continues learning and adjusting, so his full personality is still unfolding—but his gentle, affectionate nature is already shining through. At the moment, Beezer is a medium-to-low energy dog. He enjoys going for walks but is equally happy lounging around the house. He’s generally comfortable with handling and regular petting. Beezer has been friendly with everyone he’s met, men and women alike. He hasn’t met young children yet, but with adults he often greets people by gently rising up for a soft “hug”. He currently lives with two cats and has shown no aggression toward them. Training has been a highlight for Beezer. He knows sit, down, place, and stay, and he’s even held an impressive one-hour stay with no distractions. He’s working on leave it and heel on leash and is very food motivated, making training sessions productive and engaging when rewards are used thoughtfully. Beezer is a sturdy, strong boy who thrives with structure, consistency, and clear expectations. With continued training, calm guidance, and a home that understands how to avoid situations that could overwhelm him, Beezer will make a loving, loyal, and deeply rewarding companion.
