Beethoven's Story

Meet Beethoven, a handsome male Poodle born on 2/1/22.

Beethoven is a sweet and sensitive boy who will do best in a calm, predictable environment. He loves nothing more than curling up on the couch for cuddles and soaking up belly rubs. He is playful too and enjoys chasing toys, but he is just as happy being close to his people.

He does great in his crate and sleeps quietly through the night. He is not a big chewer and does not bark excessively. When kept on a consistent schedule and taken outside regularly, he does very well with potty breaks. He is still learning how to signal when he needs to go out, so a home that can provide routine and patience will help him continue to succeed.

Beethoven can be a little unpredictable around young children and may be best suited for a home without them. He is most comfortable with adults, especially when they are seated, and will happily hop up to cuddle. Quick movements or people approaching him directly can make him nervous, and he may dart away.

He can be more timid around men, so slow introductions and positive reinforcement will be important.

Beethoven would do best with an older couple or someone who is home more often and can provide the reassurance and stability he needs. In the right home, this gentle boy will blossom into a devoted and loving companion.
