Peoria Animal Welfare Shelter's Adoption Policy

Thank you for your interest in adopting with us. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have made some changes to the adoption process. When you find the animal, you are interested in, we will send you an application that will need to be approved before you meet the animal. Once you are approved, we will schedule an appointment time to visit with the animal. Most animals will be able to go home the day you meet them, if not within 24 hours. All our animals will have their first round of vaccines including rabies (if old enough). They will be spayed or neutered and microchipped before going home.
