Bee's Story

Bee is a darling 8 month old “pocket pitty” AmStaff Puppy, she may have something mixed in as she is very petite. Bee is incredibly sweet and incredibly willing to please. Bee is only 40 pounds and will mature to be a very easy manageable size of likely no more than 45 pounds as her weight has stayed the same for a few months. Bee picks up on training immediately. She wants nothing more than to snuggle, play and do what you ask of her.
Bee had a bit of a tougher start in life living with a very kind homeless person who truly cared about her but was not equipped to care for a dog in Seattle harsh wet weather. Bee is extremely well adjusted, she is accustomed to going on the bus and to parks. She was never mistreated, her owner had to make a tough decision in Bee's best interest that it has gotten too cold for her to be outside full time so a rescue person working close by where they were living in a tent offered to take her and find her a loving home where she can be warm. Bee is potty trained, has leash manners, (will pull a little if not reminded not to). She is good with all people. Bee displays no resource guarding with humans even on high value objects or food as she will let you take them from her mouth, but she initially in foster attempted to be slightly protective of food around other dogs, but learned quickly that this is not acceptable but I suspect she will try it in a new situations requiring guidance from new owner. She would do better in a non-female dog home given the breed. She was living with cats on property and was good with them. She was curious of cats in a foster home but never harmed them so would do best if the cat in the home was not timid.
Bee was around young children in foster and did great. This girl is a real gem. She’s highly ball motivated and is super easy to take on a walk around other people and animals. She’s been decent with chickens and horses in foster and oh so loving! Bee is a high energy puppy, she will need exercise and would make a good running companion and or a playful boy dog to play with.
Bee deserves an excellent home where her intelligence and loving playful nature will be appreciated! Located 30 miles east of Seattle in North Bend Washington. Home visit and vet reference required. Adoption fee $100
