Meet Becky
Our SWEET Becky is looking for a family to call her own!
Becky is one of our longtime kennel residents in need of a home. For a long time, she lived as a stray in East Texas. Becky had several litters of puppies while living on her own and would show up at the town gas station, pretty much daily, in hopes of food. Gas station employees were looking out for her by occasionally tossing out food and water, but no one took her in. After all, strays are a dime a dozen in this part of Texas.
Becky has been getting used to regular meals and care, attention and love after being on the streets for a very long time. Although timid at first, when she warms up Becky is the best dog one could ask for. She is calm-mannered, quiet, and easy going. Her perfect life would be in a calm and quiet household, soft beds to lay on, and a sunny patch in the yard for her to sunbathe, which happens to be one of her favorite activities. Becky is dog friendly but would probably do best with a male dog in the home. She is about 3 years old and 60 lbs. Fully vetted.
