Beckett's Story

Meet Beckett!! He's incredibly loyal and cuddly when he's deeply bonded with his family/people, but he's not the type of dog who warms up to the outside world.

Beckett thrives on routine and comfort. He absolutely loves car rides and cuddling on your lap at home, making him a great lapdog, but he does not do well spending time outside, making errands extremely difficult.

At home, he is affectionate, protective, and happiest when he feels safe in his environment. He does best with a calm, predictable routine and a family he can trust. He is not looking for a dominant or alpha-style household - instead, he needs patient, understanding people who will build a strong bond with him and respect his boundaries.

Beckett is not social with other animals or people other than the direct family that lives in his home. He is defensive and aggressive around dogs, small children, neighbors, external family members, friends who visit, and maintenance workers. Because of this, he must be the only pet in the home and is best suited for a completely secluded living environment with minimal exposure to neighbors or foot traffic. Proximity to others can overwhelm him and lead to intense barking and aggressive biting behaviors.

With the right home, quiet, structured, and full of trust, Beckett is an incredibly loving, devoted companion. He gives his whole heart to his family and will be a fiercely loyal protector and companion to the people he feels safe with. He loves to be pampered and is used to being spoiled with the best treats and affection.
