Beau's Story

Beau is an adult chihuahua looking for a lap to call his very own.
Though nervous around new people, a slow and gentle approach can transform a timid little timbit into a snuggle storm. Cuddling being his true calling, Beau’s favourite place to be is cozied up right next to his human.
Generally a pretty quiet guy so far, Beau has been settling quickly and sleeping soundly through the night in his crate. He tends to utilize his voice fairly infrequently, usually only letting out his chihuahua-ness when someone is at the door. Men wearing hats do tend to get him barking for some reason but surely strong opinions on fashion cannot be deemed a fault.
Befriending the resident dog in his foster home and remaining completely unbothered by the cat, Beau’s foster family has found him to be a wonderful house-guest. His potty-training seems to come pre-installed as he quickly figured out exactly where his business should be conducted. Leash-training is still a work-in-progress but with practice, this clever little guy is sure to continue his progress.
If you find your lap feeling cold and empty during lonely evenings on the couch, you might just be missing a Beau.
