Beau's Story
This young Weimaraner (possibly a mix) is bursting with energy and personality. He’s loving, curious, and eager to explore the world, but he hasn’t had the easiest start in life. Because of that, he’ll need someone committed to giving him structure, guidance, and the active lifestyle he craves.

An ideal match would be an experienced owner—preferably someone familiar with Weimaraners or German Shorthaired Pointers—who enjoys hiking, running, or other outdoor adventures. He’s almost housebroken and making good progress, but obedience training will still be a must as he continues to learn his manners and boundaries.

He’s a bit too rambunctious for small children, but he seems fine with other dogs and hasn’t shown much interest in cats. Due to past food insecurity, he can get overly excited at mealtimes and may need to be fed separately until he learns that food is always available.

He may not be the right fit for a first-time dog owner, but in experienced, gentle hands, this boy will blossom into a loyal, active, and joyful companion.

For more information and to set up a visitation, please contact Gwen Wilson at RescueHeartsAlabama@gmail.com
