Thankfully, the kind humans here gave me time, patience, and training—and I’ve come so far!<br/><br/>I’m an active, intelligent boy who loves to play. Fetch is my favorite game, especially if there’s a tennis ball involved. I’ll even bring it back! I also enjoy nature walks, tug-of-war, and learning new cues—I’m working on Sit, Down, and Come, and I’m walking to the yard on a leash like a champ. I thrive on routine, and I’m very treat-motivated, which makes training super fun for me.<br/><br/>My ideal home would be a quiet adult household with people who will give me space and time to get to know them at my pace. The best way to build trust with me? Play fetch! I prefer not to be touched right away—unless you’re offering a butt scratch, and even that should be on my terms.<br/><br/>Even though I’m beautiful, big, and fluffy, I don’t like to share my things. If you allow me on beds or couches, I may claim them as mine and feel uncomfortable if you try to move me—so it’s best to keep boundaries and teach me that furniture is off-limits.<br/><br/>Because of my sensitive nature, I’ll need multiple visits with a potential adopter so we can get to know each other slowly and thoughtfully.
