Beau

Beau came to us as an owner surrendered due to change of living situation at a whopping 4 yrs old. He loves toys and playing fetch, in typical heeler fashion he will play until he’s panting. He loves cuddles and car rides, putting his face out the window is a joy to him. He rarely barks which is not typical heeler but when he does, it’s an alert or vocal communication to another dog usually. He absolutely adores kids and hasn’t met a stranger in one yet. He has not proven to be a typical nipper at adults, he’s friendly, vocal and curious. He may not like kennels but he will kennel when unsupervised, although not shown he will be destructive if left out. He prefers to sleep with you, or in the same room as you, in a dog bed or on the floor. He has shown little interest in our chickens and reptiles. He has excellent recall too!
