She eats well when she has company and has developed some very endearing habits—she will gently vocalize when she wants to join you on the couch, jump into the shower if you leave the door open, and follow you from room to room simply to be near.<br/><br/>She handles car rides and walks best in calm, short stretches, and she has shown no guarding around toys or food. What she wants most is closeness and predictability.<br/><br/>Beatrix will need to be the only pet in the home. She is still learning confidence and cannot live with other dogs or cats. Because she can bark or jump when she becomes nervous, a home without small children is best for her.
