Bear's Story

Meet Bear,

The sweetest senior looking for a new home to lay his head as he lives out his Golden years. Bear found his way into a Northern shelter as a stray so sadly little is known about this boys previous life. He came in fully matted and was given a fresh new haircut to help him look and feel his best. His new owners will need to ensure regular grooming is maintained by consistent hair brushing and nail trims. He is very good with people, and is showing positive interest with dogs as well.
He is very polite when offered a treat and will happily sit and give BIG bum wiggles. He is quite spritely for an older fellow, and will hop on his two front paws to show his interest in new things! He is a very strong boy and is working on his loose-leash walking manners.

He loves a good sniff followed by a snuggle and would make an excellent companion for a laid back home. Bear is currently awaiting a dental and is looking for an adopter who can ensure he gets to and from this appointment. The BCSPCA will cover the costs of care.

If you are looking for a laid back boy with a big personality and a heart of gold, stop by the West Vancouver BCSPCA between 12pm-3pm, Tuesday-Sunday!
